Inspirational Imaginings
Ramtha calls us the "Forgotten Gods". He says if he could take
ALL our words away and leave us just a few it would be:
I now know.  I know I am absolute.   I am complete.  I am God I am.

David Grayson:
Adventure is not outside
man; it is within.
Focus on your one purpose
- Japanese motto
I see myself in you, and for the first time I am beginning to understand what I am, like a reflection in a spring"
~ Kurt Weill to Lottie Lenya
"All mankind is divided into three classes: those that are immovable, those that are movable, and those that move."
~~ Benjamin Franklin
"The future, higher evolution will belong to those who live in joy, who share joy, and who spread joy."
-- Torkom Saraydarian
Ralph Waldo Emerson:
Do not go where the path may
lead, go instead where there is no
path and leave a trail.
Emily Dickinson:
"We never know how high we are till we are
called to rise. If we are true to plan, our
statures touch the skies."
Albert Schweitzer:
As we acquire more knowledge,
things do not become more
comprehensible but more mysterious.
Daniel Roy Wiarda:
Adventure: the pursuit of life.
The meal had not progressed far when our Chief asked the lady what she considered the greatest attribute of God. Without a
moment's hesitation she answered, "Love." Then she went on to say, "The Tree of Life is located in the midst of the paradise of
God, the very depth, of our own soul, and the rich, abundant fruit that grows and ripens to the fullest perfection, the most perfect
and life-giving,is Love.

Love has been defined by those who perceive its true character as the greatest thing in the world. I might add that it is,
the greatest thing in the world. I might add that it is the greatest healing force, in the world. Love never fails to meet every
demand of the human heart. The Divine Principle of Love may be used to eliminate every sorrow, every infirmity, every harsh
condition, and every lack that harasses humanity. With the right understanding and use, of the subtle and illimitable, influence of
love, the world may be healed of its wounds and the sweet mantle of its heavenly compassion may cover all in harmony, all
ignorance, and all mistakes of mankind.

"With wings outstretched, Love searches out the arid spots of the human heart, the waste places of life, and with a seeming
magic touch, redeems humanity and transforms the world. Love is God, eternal, limitless, changeless, going beyond all visions
into infinitude. The end we can only envision. Love fulfills the law of its own, consummates its perfect work, and reveals the
Christ within the soul of man.

Love is ever seeking an inlet whereby it may flow forth into the soul of man, and pour itself out, as all good, to him.
If it is not disturbed by man's perversity and discordant thinking, God's eternal, changeless current of love flows ever onward,
carrying before it, into the great universal sea of forgetfulness, every appearance of in harmony or ugliness which disturbs the
peace of man.

Love is the perfect fruit of the Spirit; it goes forth, binding up the wounds of humanity, drawing nations into closer harmony, and
bringing peace and prosperity to the world. It is the very pulse of the world, the heartbeat of the universe. Humanity must be
charged with this current of love, from the great Omnipresent Life, if it would do the works of Jesus.

An adventure is only an inconvenience rightly considered. An inconvenience is only an
adventure wrongly considered.  G. K. Chesterton
Chopra:
Enough people already side with killing the enemy. Belligerence and fear don't need your help, in case you thought we were in
imminent danger of an out-break of peace. Even if nuclear weapons have to be forced out of N. Korea or Iran down the line,
the body at peace is still worth having.  It can serve as the vehicle for bringing the world back to sanity.  The bedrock argument
here is that the body at peace is normal, whereas the body at war is not."
The Way of a Warrior is based on
humanity, love, and sincerity; the
heart of martial valor is true
bravery, wisdom, love, and
friendship.
Emphasis on the physical aspects
of warriorship is futile, for the
power of the body is always limited.

THE GUEST HOUSE
This being human is a guest house,
Every morning a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meanness,
Some momentary awareness comes
As an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they're a crowd of sorrows,
Who violently sweep your house
Empty of its furniture,
Still, treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out
For some new delight.
The dark thought, the shame, the
malice,
Meet them all at the door laughing,
And invite them in.
Be grateful for whoever comes,
Because each has been sent
As a guide from the Beyond.
-Rumi
Napoleon Bonaparte:
Chance is the providence of adventurers.
How happy is the blameless vessels lot
The world forgetting by the world forgot
The eternal sunshine of the spotless mind
Each prayer accepted, and each wish resigned.
Alexander Pope.
But how will I react to the actions of others?
With love. For just as love is my weapon
to open the hearts of men, love is also my
shield to repulse the arrows of hate and the
spears of anger.
~Og Mandino
"Twenty years from now you will be
more disappointed by the things that
you didn't do than by the ones you
did do. So throw off the bowlines.
Sail away from the safe harbor.
Catch the trade winds in your sails.
Explore. Dream. Discover."
- Mark Twain
Ovid:
Fortune and love befriend the bold.
1. Do not think dishonestly.
2. The Way is in training.
3. Become acquainted with every art.
4. Know the Ways of all professions.
5. Distinguish between gain and loss
    in worldly matters.
6. Develop intuitive judgment and
    understanding for everything
7. Percieve those things which
    cannot  be seen.
8. Pay attention even to trifles.
9. Do nothing which is of no use.

The path of the Warrior is lifelong, and mastery is often simply staying on the path.
- Richard Strozzi Heckler, In Search of the Warrior
Amelia Earhart:
Adventure is worthwhile.
In the century now dawning, spirituality, visionary consciousness, and the ability to build and mend human relationships will be
more important for the fate and safety of this nation than our capacity to forcefully subdue an enemy.  Creating the world we want
is a much more subtle but more powerful mode of operation than destroying the one we don't want.
~Marianne Williamson
Ernest Holmes:
" Spirit in me appreciates all recognition of Itself, and outpours upon me all of its qualities, Ideas and aspects. All life moves to
grant me the ability and the power to do what I know is right and fine and true. The inner upsurging of Divine intelligence and
Creativeness impels me to right decisions and right actions. There is nothing to fight, there are no battles to be won. The victorious

Truth of my being expresses as me, and dominion over all the good is mine to use. All positives are mine. All virtues belong to me.
All of God is revealed to me, and I demonstrate my happiness "
The opposite of a correct statement is a false statement. But the opposite of a
profound truth may well be another profound truth.  ~Niels Bohr
Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an
inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever
affects one directly, affects all indirectly.
~ Martin Luther King Jr.
Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart. Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens.
~ Carl G Jung
The colossal misunderstanding of our time is the assumption that insight will work with people who are unmotivated to change.
Communication does not depend on syntax, or eloquence, or rhetoric, or articulation but on the emotional context in which the
message is being heard. People can only hear you when they are moving toward you, and they are not likely to, when your
words are pursuing them. Even the choice words lose their power when they are used to overpower. Attitudes are the real
figures of speech.
~ Edwin H. Friedman
Indeed, to some extent it has always been necessary and proper for man, in his thinking, to divide things up, if we tried to deal
with the whole of reality at once, we would be swamped. However when this mode of thought is applied more broadly to man's
notion of himself and the whole world in which he lives, (i.e. in his world-view) then man ceases to regard the resultant divisions
as merely useful or convenient and begins to see and experience himself and this world as actually constituted of separately
existing fragments. What is needed is a relativistic theory, to give up altogether the notion that the world is constituted of basic
objects or building blocks. Rather one has to view the world in terms of universal flux of events and processes.
~ David Bohm
If we value independence, if we are disturbed by the growing conformity of knowledge, of values, of attitudes, which our present
system induces, then we may wish to set up conditions of learning which make for uniqueness, for self-direction, and for
self-initiated learning.
~ Carl Rogers
The truth is that our finest moments are most likely to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable, unhappy, or unfulfilled.
For it is only in such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our ruts and start searching for
different ways or truer answers.  ~ M. Scott Peck
To understand reality is not the same as to know about outward events. It is to perceive the essential nature of things. The
best-informed man is not necessarily the wisest. Indeed there is a danger that precisely in the multiplicity of his knowledge he will
lose sight of what is essential. But on the other hand, knowledge of an apparently trivial detail quite often makes it possible to see
into the depth of things. And so the wise man will seek to acquire the best possible knowledge about events, but always without
becoming dependent upon this knowledge. To recognize the significant in the factual is wisdom. ~ Dietrich Bonhoeffer
"I like to believe that people in the long run are going to do more to promote
peace than our governments.  Indeed, I think people want peace so much that one
of these days governments had better get out of the way and let them have it."
~ Dwight D. Eisenhower
The life I touch for good or ill will touch another life, and that in turn another, until who knows where the trembling  stops or in
what far place my touch will be felt.
~Frederick Buechner

The Father I do love greatly for the Father and I are One, and I love

"We are cups, constantly and

~Ray Bradbury
"A trap is for fish: when you've got the fish, you can forget the trap. A snare is
for rabbits: when you've got the rabbit, you can forget the snare. Words are
for meaning: when you've got the meaning, you can forget the words. Where
can I find someone who's forgotten words so I can have a word with him?..."
Zhuangzi - Chinese mystic who lived around the 4th century
The so-called miraculous powers of a great master are a natural
accompaniment to his exact understanding of subtle laws that operate in
the inner cosmos of consciousness.
~ Paramahansa Yogananda
Soul  by Eric Galla

Close your eyes, To see with your heart,
Close your ears, To hear with your heart,
Forget your mind, And think with your heart.
For your heart will see, When your eyes fail,
And your heart will hear, When the voices are confused,
Your heart has the answers, When your mind falls short.
Remember your heart, For it is the key to love,
Remember all love, For love is the key to your soul,
Remember your soul, For it is your Foundation
Those who dwell among the beauties and
mysteries of the earth are never alone or
weary of life.  Those who contemplate the
beauty of the earth find reserves of strength
that will endure as long as life lasts. The more
clearly we can focus our attention on the
wonders and realities of the universe about
us, the less taste we shall have for destruction.
~Rachel Carson
